America Great Again? When Was America Good?

The white man came and took over the land

Kicking out the originators, the true creators

Unforgivngly, no mercy, no understanding

Built it up like it was his own, and claimed it his own

Kicking out the originators , the true creators

The white man realized he needed help, so he took it

"He" built up like it was his own, and claimed it his own

No applause for the minorities, even though we helped the majority

The whie man realize he needed help, so he took it

Once the task is done, he left us with not even a chance to win

No applause for the minorities, even though we helped the majority.

Nevertheless, we fought, we sat, and we stood so the white man would give us our rights.

Once our task was done, he left us with a chance to win but with a struggle

He freed us with a catch, he let us have our rights with a cost, it's 2017 and we still have a price to pay

Even though, we fought, we sat, and we stood so the white man would give us our rights

Every color except white will always have a harder fight and we are still in the rink.

In America, every single race has fought for equality for centuries and we still live in a world of white privilege.

So tell me this, when was America even good, let alone great?
