The American Dream
Believe in me darling, for i am your sanity
A piece of tranquality in a world full of ability
The hope of a nation to become one
The dream of a fatherless child kissing his son
A distant star to the girl who is praying
That the breast cancer wont stop her from staying
A homeless man with hope in his heart
That a stranger will be able to do their part
A elderly grandma hugging her young
For fear of days yet to come
All my children breath easy a bit
your american dream will never quite
