Society says, 

its unsuitable to go out

sporting classic bed head. 

We are told to dot our 'I's" 

and mind our "Q's", 

but what if, what if,

that means nothing 

to me or you. 

We werent born to be told;

We were born to do, 

exactly whatever means 

the most to you. 

We are one of a kind, 

but weve become just like

everyone else; 

totally blind. 

We are imperfect 

perfection. 

Yet we try to

change the reflection.

We are who

we are supposed 

to be. 

Take a step back, 

and become who 

I know you could be. 

Don't dot your "I's" or 

mind your "Q's" 

unless that means 

something to you. 

Don't fix your hair, 

let society stare. 

Don't hide your freckles, 

pretty girl, 

show them off to the 

whole world! 

Speak your mind for 

all to hear! 

Let your thoughts sore 

with a cheer!

Tell me, 

isn't it so much better 

not to lie ?

YOU are something
