for the angry

the gods are angry

they shake my window

with their boisterous voices

they casue my body to tremble in fear

and my eyes to overspill their salty tears

zeus and his lightning are vengeful tonight

poseidon cares not for his tantrums

hades takes no prisoners

it is war afterall

the waters from the aftermath cleanse the earth

seeping deep

washing out the spilled blood

the gods appetite satieted

and tomorrow they once again fight

a timeless battle

that neither side

knows how to win
