Another Day

Wake up every morning, 7 am
Grab a weak coffee from the five cup machine
Glance at a can of beans in the fridge
Wonder how long I can make them last

Head in to work
Familiar clack of computer keys
Strained, worn smiles from coworkers
No longer does the office noise
Make me want to claw at my ears

Rash on my arms still there from last night
As I type away, eyes locked on screen
Skin itches literally and otherwise
Wonder how long it can last

Eyes severely irritated
As I stare at my computer screen
A+, B+, C+, D
There has to be more than this
