Anxiety

Location

Behind her blue eyes,

there stands a girl, chubby and stout

A girl, who's mind is hoarded with ideas and doubt

Will she make it?

Will she crash and burn, like the others in her place?

All she wants to do is is shout!

Behind her blue eyes,

there stands a girl, who's left in the dust,

all thanks to the demon, that's taken hold

Anxiety is his name.

He loves to play his game.

All she can do is cuss.

Behind her blue eyes,

there stands a girl, who once had a crush

It all happened in a rush,

They watched on,

as the crowd beat her down,

Laughing as she landed, face-down.

Behind her blue eyes,

there stands a girl, who just wants to be free

But all she can do is flee,

She may laugh out in glee,

but she will never be free.
