How

How can you pull the trigger,

take a life,

and walk away?

Knowing this person

made away,

save generations.

African American male.

Strong built.

Black hair.

Deep eyes,

as if they had a story to tell.

Children are told that he,

with others combing the stars,

helped pave the way

for little black kids and little white kids today.

Creating equality,

or at least,

starting the way

for love, happiness and peace to

the heart of all american men.

He spoke speeches.

Real speeches, that shook churches.

Made pastors stand and yell

“Amen, Amen, this man, Amen”.

He spoke truth.

Real true words, that stopped fights.

Made white men and black men look

around and see no difference but skin pigments.

He spoke love.

Real love, that brought tears of joy.

Made that generation, and this generation and the next generations know

that we are equal no matter who we are.

He was only human,

yes.

A man sent from God to

guide the people. Help others

and guide the masses. Pray for man

and guide the thoughts. Love with kindness

and guide.

Yes,

He was only human

but he made a difference.

A difference that shakes the earth

even today.

So how,

How can you pull the trigger,

take a life,

and walk away?

Knowing this person

made away,

save generations.

This man that stood for peace,

sat in diners for peace,

walked with millions for peace,

educated for peace,

preached for peace,

loved for peace,

rallied for peace,

lived for peace.

How can you pull the trigger?

How could you pull the trigger?

How?
