Atlas: It Only Took One Mistake

Wed, 07/10/2019 - 17:18 -- tfaison

He defied a god, they say.

That's his own mistake.

But he only ever did it

for his children's sake.

All he did was ask for a raise

to make sure the money left over was a little higher.

He just wanted to be able to give his kids a little more,

did he really deserve to be fired?

He's told that these are the throes of "being greedy" and growing older

but he didn't ask to carry the weight of the world on his shoulders.
