Awkward Lies

Fluttering heartbeat

Like a butterfly in the clouds;

Nobody sees

but he's there.

A smile in your eyes

in a portrait

in an album form the past

I found it.

So sorry, baby.

Fear was upon us

like madness in times of summer heat;

And a storm was breaking

within our hearts.

So sorry, baby.

The shining sun from the east,

comforts the womb;

The breeze from Gods above

tickles eyelids closed.

Dry Dreams.

Dry tears.

A beautiful mistake,

met with misunderstood laughter.

But worried eyes

do not go unnoticed.

Does regret?
