To be Heard

Location

Life ain't about  money or love

What really matters is that man up above

With his love i saved my soul

Because back then my life was taking a toll

I used to think partying was the way of life

I learned that nonesense just wasn't right

I thought going to church was such a joke

My maturity and respect was so broke

In thoughts, I'd mock my parents at church

Like "dude what are they trying to search"?

Now I know the enternal love they feel,

Because I discovered that my savior is real

Rappers these days be talkin' all this vulgarity

If I had their type of money I would donate it to charity

Instead they waste it on alchohol or drugs

WIth the side affects, leaving them lookin' like bugs

I dont respect that, I respect the man who died for me

Died for your sins too, to set us free

All of these non believers call me a bible hugger

I'd rather be that, than a bum who's a mugger

I'm not saying I'm perfect cuz that ain't true

What I really mean is, just get a clue

Just try to think twice, about what you do

When I found god, my who perspective change

from then on i knew nothing was going to be the same

My views changed, especially outlook on life

I'm more caring less selfish, let that suffice

My friends say "Jenny you've turned so nice"

I try my best now, to do things in his glory

Best beleieve I'm telling the truth I ain't telling no story

Who says rap can't be holy?

Leave y'all with your jaws open, saying holy moly

What I'm saying is, I'm glad I saved my life

With the incredible love of Jesus Christ
