Be Me

I could sit here and tell you what I look like

Give you a description about how I am just over five and a half feet tall and an African American girl

I could tell you what society thinks I should look like

A girl tall with long locks but wieghs less than most

But that's not who I am at least not the best part

If you want to know me you have to look deep

There you will see that I'm

       Determined

When I put my mind to something I won't stop until it's done

       Sensitive

I tend to care what others think or feel of me as I do them

       Self Critical

I'm my own worst enemy

     Selfish

Then again aren't we all in some shape or form?

God made me who I am for a reason

There are times when I don't like it

As well as times when I'm proud of it

In the end I wouldn't change it for the world

We all should we proud of who we are

          Are You?
