Beach Weather

Location

This beach weather isn't it?

A cool breeze, bare feet, pelicans to shoo,

Hold my while we walk

To kids, enfatuated, with enfatuation itself,

I adore to adore you,

That's why I'm here, no board in my possesion, no volleyball net near,

I can't imagine anything better

We could be out here in 40 degree weather, I wouldn't get cold feet,

See its not the weather that attracts me

Each day gets shorter, time more valuable, we grow fast don't we?

Tuition, comforters for my dorm, and what classes I'll have, all haunt me....

But its chill time

I won't produce a thing

Except a smile on your face and mine, and maybe a song to sing
