A Beautiful, Beautiful End

Free me I’m gasping for air

Find me I know I am here

Clutching my chest

And the angels sing again

“What a beautiful, beautiful end”

While I’m weeping, I’m screaming

“God where have you been

I’m alone and I need you here

Ill be good this time I swear”

Is it too late to cry?

What happened inside?

My innocence slipped away

I’m frightened, I’m screaming

And the angels sing again

“What a beautiful, beautiful end”

While I’m bleeding, I’m pleading

“God where have you been

I’m afraid and the sun is setting

Help me up again”

And the dark descends

I find myself somewhere new

Its too late for redemption my friend

As he slips quietly out of the room

And the angels sing again

“What a beautiful, beautiful end”

While I’m naked, I’m screaming

“God where have you been

I’m sorry, I’m sorry

But I don’t know who I am”
