The Beautiful Duckling

A mother duck had 4 eggs. One of them hatched before all the rest. This little duckling didn't look like a duckling at all, it looked more like an angel. It was the most beautiful of them all, with angel wings and big innocent eyes. But as soon as the other eggs hatched, you could see it was ugly at heart. When it's brothers and sisters wanted to play, the beautiful duckling always found a way to make the game in its favor. The game was always about the beautiful duckling. One day the ducklings couldn't take it anymore, and they told their mom duck they won't play with the beautiful duckling ever again. Seeing how this hurt every duckling, mom duck went to speak to the beautiful duckling alone. Then she sang, "My little angel you're as beautiful as can be, but don't let the outside keep you from looking in." The beautiful duckling didn't understand, "what do you mean looking in? I can't look inside someone." "No darling," mom duck laughed. Then she sang again, "There's a golden rule that says don't judge a book by its cover, you're as beautiful as can be but don't let your cover deceive you." "Momma," the beautiful duckling said, "Am I too mean to my brothers and sisters? I love them but I love to play games about me." The mom duck replied, "that's alright darling, just make sure your brothers and sisters feel like a part of the game too, don't take it all for yourself." And it was so, that all the little ducklings played together. Each one feeling part of the game.
