Beauty Does Not Last

An elegant rose, must wither and die

A sculptor's masterpiece will weather away

Beauty does not last

All things have a beginning and an end

A beautiful woman would one day become a crone

A handsome and strong man will weaken and wither with age

Beauty is fleeting

It will be there one day, and not the next.

Beauty does not last.
