Because I Love you

Because I Love you
I sent my one and Only son
Because I Love you,
I humbled myself, coming in lowliness
Healing the broken and wounds that wouldn't heal
Because I Love you
I took one (1) cross
Three nails (3)
And forty lashes to my bones
So you could be forgiven (4)
Why do I want you to cling to me
Because I Love you
And because I Love you
I give you a choice to love me back.
