Because I love You

By Wendy Johnson

Because I love you, I will not allow you to suffer pain alone

Because I love you, you will always have a place within my home

Because I love you, I will build you up while others may try to tear you down

Because I love you, I will be there when no one is around.

When the music fades and the world turns it's back on you.

Because I love you, you will never have to feel shame on who you love and what you do

Because I love you, your dreams and mine intertwine

Because I love you, I know your heart is one of a kind.

Because I love you it will never be a dalliance.

Because I love you, I pray this world comes to a better alliance.

Because I love you, I find happiness in your effervescent laugh

Because I love you, I pray for our future, present, and past.

Because I love you I love the solitude of our bungalow.

The petrichor emanating on the flowers below as the sunset give a luminous glow.

Because I love you. you will never have the life of a solivagant. I pray you never feel alone.

Because I love you, I pray that my love is within your heart and God's wisdom guides your soul.

Because I love you, even if we do fall apart I pray that love will stay in your heart.

Because I love you means I love you no matter the start of this ephemeral life.

Because I love you means I will unconditionally love you until the day you die.
