Because I'm a Girl

I wasn’t allowed to play with Legos.

Santa never brought me a PS3.

I was never allowed to walk home from school.

I was never taught how to change the oil in my car.

I’m never asked to carry things.

I can’t be outside after dark.

I have to bring my boyfriend bodyguard.

I have to stay close to home.

Those toys are for your brother.

Go play with your barbie.

It was different for Raymond.

We'll teach you one day.

Can we get some boys to help?

You could be raped.

You need to be protected.

That's too far for a girl to go.
