Because You Are Fair

Tue, 05/09/2017 - 23:39 -- ldevous

Because your skin is so fair it makes my life unfair.

You dare to take chances while I sit here with the consequences.

Because you’re white you don’t feel the same.

You don’t feel or understand my pain.

This hashtag Criming While White, is more like white privilege brought to life.

You say you support us, but you’re lying as I’m dying.

Do you think being the hashtag Alive While Black the violence was justified?

Or are you just afraid to be criticized?

Because your skin is so pale, I’m going to die in this jail.

With the pigment of my skin, I don’t want to be another statistic.

Just tell me the way you would help me if really care for me.

Because yes, All Lives Matter but the Black ones need this attention.

Just because we are black doesn’t mean we lack anything.

The cops always say “come on give me a reason” but really they want just want our freedom.
