Becuse I've Been in Your Shoes

I have a dream

To help those in need.

To help set them free from their past sufferings.

To help them keep hope when they're without a home.

I'll provide a place where they're finally thrown a bone.

'Cause I have a dream to live in a home.

A home with my family,

And that's just my reality.

But for those on the streets,

Well it's different for those peeps.

No walls to keep in the heat.

No beds for anyone for sleep.

I guess what I'm trying to say is, I'm glad to have a home at the end of the week.

But I have a dream:

One day these streets will be clean,

And all it will take is a little bit of love from you and me.
