Behind The Curtain

Location

Behind the Curtain,

You think you know what you see

But you don't.

Behind the Television Screen,

They seem like they are one big happy family

But they aren't.

Behind the walls,

You think you know what you've heard

But you don't even have a clue.

Behind these curtains, these screens, these walls,

Are lies they want you to believe

Cut scenes they don't want you to see

Lyrics that are way too obscene.

You see the actors and actresses are getting along

You would think that if two singers were doing a duet they would be happy to be singing that song

Just like you, my answer is wrong

When those curtains rise,

And the crowd dies to see what the entertainers have for their eyes

They put on a show with their best poker face

They make the world stop to turn their heads

Just to perform

I call them the show stoppers

They are the ones who do it for the fame and money,

While others enjoy seeing a smile on their fans face.

That's the motive of the show stoppers

Because when the lights go out,

And you're full of doubt because of what you see and not what is real

And they know they have done their jobs well for the day.

Behind the curtain,

They hate each other,

They are fighting for the biggest prize

Who will be in the tabloids the next day and also the biggest paycheck

Its a shame to tell the truth about this world we live in

I shouldn't have to tell the truth

The truth should already be out

But no, everybody have to lie to keep their name

Not a pain, But what a shame

In the end they say, It was all for fame

To me, show business is all a game

And we choose to participate

Most of them are clueless because they don't know for what lies are

Behind The Curtain.
