Behind the Curtain
On the good side of the curtain,
I am the smiling, sweet girl that everyone can see.
On the bad side of the curtain,
I am the dying, angry girl that only I can view.
On the good side,
I compliment and praise.
On the bad,
I degrade and deteriorate.
On the complete side,
I laugh and cherish all.
On the broken side,
I nurture myself in hopes that I'll be fixed.
Only when the curtain opens,
Can the pieces truly unite.
I'm ready to stop my hiding,
but I hide so that I save the others.
