Behind the World's Expectations

Tue, 01/06/2015 - 18:22 -- KM1113

If I were real, real with nothing in my way, there would be no shame.

No worry of what others thought and no need to be tame.

With no filter, words would roll off my tongue in an instant

Nothing derogatory or mean just something distant.

Distant from what society looks for,

Past all of the smarts that just cause war.

My lips would speak what comes out first,

What inspires me to be a happy burst!

I would speak joy and sing and laugh and play,

And simply do things my way.

It may not come out with intellegence,

But it would change the world with my diligecne,

It would speak of my  life with love...

It would be something I was not ashamed, but PROUD of.

I love the thought of speaking without worrying what others think. I am a very happy and energetic person, but wonder if that is always enough, or if I need to go read a book before I give my input. I purely want to be able to speak my thouhgts without being judged on wether I know every fact in the world. I hope you enjoyed reading this!!
