Beyond the lens,

I am not perfect,

I have my scars and wounds

Beyond the lens,

I have to admit

I may be battered and bruised

My words are never coated

with all crazy slang and what not

I say what is on my mind

But I keep it short and simple

I have always been the person

to express what I feel

but never to a point

where others are hurt
