Beyond This World

Hello, my love

We haven’t spoken much lately. You say it’s the distance.

I don’t believe that. Distance is just the time that it takes to make a mistake.

I am submerged, and tormented by self-doubt but

I dream of love.

Stephen Hawking says that there are many universes.

But my daydreams are beyond this world.

Is there a reality that could house both of us?

You don’t dream of love.

You sleep soundly while I’m awake haunted with you on my mind.

It isn’t the distance. We haven’t spoken much lately.

Tell me there is a universe for us.

Our own world.
