Black and loving it

In order for you to understand my roots,

first you have to understand the way my skin pop

It's smooth like chocolate and hotter than the sun

From the mind of an intelligent woman, these full lips resemble grace

Black and Loving it!

Please excuse my wild hair and wide hops beauty like this can't be miss

Black and Loving it!

My circumstances don't make me less fortunate,my community taught me how to grind harder and play smarter

Beyond intelligent, black and loving it

A heart of gold and dreams beyond measures, I am gonna scream how pround I am

Once,Twice,or even three time I'm not ashamed of my heritage I wear as a badge of honor.

As a black woman my history is beyond your understanding

We were beat, whip, and treated as private property

Standing up for what I believe in, my Black is beautiful

So please respect my natural hair, thighs, and not to mention my behind

As I walk past I notice the small things like your man watching my curves smiling at my every move, it's okay this BLACK GIRL ROCK!!
