Black And White

There’s nothing we can doBut sit back and watchAs we destroy ourselvesWith all these little lies and tricks There’s nothing we can say But “I’m sorry”As we break each other’s heartsWith the facades we put on  There’s nothing we can change But ourselvesAs we adapt to the circumstances we faceThe problems we embrace We fight and bickerWe point and blameSlowly we are flyingInto the flame  Like a moth lured into lightA savior, oh, so brightBut little do we knowIt is ourselves, our foe We kick and punch, and receive them backAnd little by little, the pain just stacksAll of us focusing on the things we lackReadying ourselves for the attack
