You thought that there was no other way

You want to die and go far away

I can tell you were never fully understood

So you stayed away for as long as you could

 

But Im going to change your point of view

You have to realize that people love you

You’re wanted and care for by your closet friends

Who needs other’s when you have them?

You might not see it, not so soon

But hopefully one day it will come to you

 

Happy endings, they do exist

But each one is different, so please resist

Resist giving up and ending it all

Don’t give in, it’s two hours till the ball

 

Yes, that’s right, I talking about Disney

The movies with love and friends and family

And you will get your fairytale

Your friends don’t deserve a quick farewell

 

Please understand that you deserve happiness

Life is one of those really hard tests

You don’t have to fall inlove to be something people desire

Be true to yourself, one thing people will not tire

 

So that’s my poem, I know it’s short

You probably don’t believe my quick retorts

Or the way my poems rhyme so quick

The way I get in your mind and stick

But please hear me out and stay strong

They say you’re worthless? Well, they are wrong

Give those losers something to remember

They’ll regret their abuse for forever

 

Raise above the wrongs and hate

Don’t stay in the past, for in the future you will be late

You’re are worth it, you are beautiful

They are just jealous, they know they are full

Full of bullcrap and envy and ice

But you are different, you are nice

So put down that blade, put the lighter away

Hide it forever, I promise you’ll be okay

 

Don’t be someone to hide in fear

Be that one who keeps their loved one’s near

To give the finger to the hater’s out there

Hold up a sign that reads ‘Beware’

Let them know you’re not giving up

You’re better the them, more smart, more tough

 

So, okay, this poem is cheesy

It’s a little lame, probably made you sleepy

But I wanted to get my message out there

That you are worth it and someone cares

Your life has brightened a million faces

The ones in the background shadows, hiding in places

And they need someone as much too

So you love them as they loved you <3
