Blooming

Survive the storm, thunder, and rain,

dig deep inside to locate the pain.

Follow its stem down to the roots,

unveil the confusion and discover the fruits.

Don't overcomplicate what is simple and sweet,

to discover bitterness and miss the treat.

What could be a loss, could readily be a gain,

so long as you choose not to remain

Never become imprisoned or trapped by fear,

for then you'll miss out on what's precious and dear.

Be not afraid to grow taller than the rest,

Absorb what you are given to reach your best.

Once you've outgrown and overpowered the stubborn weeds,

your roots will grow deeper, unaffected by weaker seeds.

So don't feel guilty to soak the sun's rays,

for It shines for all, each and every day.
