Blue Boxes

Words full of meaning and life,

Yet you never speak.

Paragraphs full

Words are heavy

Conversations for hours

Yet you won’t say hi

You won’t look at me

Say it to my face

If you know my face

You know the blue box

It’s filled with words

Things you have said to me

Yet where are you

I have never heard a word

I don’t know your voice

So many meaningful talks

What do they mean

If you cannot say anything

Are you too shy

Why can you not say hi

It’s not that hard

You are trapped in that blue box

With your voiceless words.
