Blue Girl

Yesterday, I saw your face on an actor in a movie.

When I saw that his eyes were the same as yours, deep-set with the same intensity.

My eyes glued to the screen.

I lowered my gaze and found your nose, with the same large pores

And I smiled

On top of his eyes sat the same bushy eyebrows that furrowed just like yous did, connected by a few hairs.

I giggled to myself and rolled my eyes

His lips were the same, thinner on top with a nice cupid's bow, always chapped

And I remembered what our first kiss was like.

We were both afraid to ruin our friendship.

I remebered the skin on his back, smooth

I remebered his strong legs and the warmth of his sheets

Then, I saw your face.

A tear fell from my eye, I smiled.
