The Blue Marble Fell from my Starry Night

Location

I saw McCandless up there, unleashed and free

When I was of an age barely more than three

I knew then that I would be like him

I would to that black abyss to swim

My dreams were such for a long while

I planned and built my life for mile and mile

Everything I did was with that end in mind

To float up in space, even just one time

My dreams were stolen from me, autumn ‘11

No one’s fault, I just wasn’t let in

A spiral rose up, taking me down with it

And now choices arise from within that pit

What do I do now?

I am so lost without that dream
