Bondage

Location

Bondage

The sea stops my inmost being

Creatures to search the corners

Breaking free from bondage

What makes us bound?

Hold us from chaos,

Yielding to the dangers of the world

Inhale the smoke

Release

Bondage has broken

Dwelling with the feathers,

Our bricks

You could build a house the weight of your bricks?

Not built from wood

You cannot burn this house down

You are this anchor holding me down,

From the dreams drawn from afar

I wrote this poem one night, at 2 o'clock in the morning. I had a breakthrough, and this is written for my mother.
