Born from the Briar Patch

Location

United States

Make me a crown
Born from the briar patch
So that I might repent my sins.
For I have long waited
For reason to grasp me
And tell me I’m right to play the jack.

Being known for faults
Can hurt more than making them
Because then you might feel pain,
That come from eyes
That once revered your touch.
