Box of Chocolates

They say “life is like a box of chocolates”

I couldn't agree more

Of course, it all depends on the eyes of the beholder

Some like dark chocolate, sea chocolate, white chocolate…

But to me, the most intriguing part is the box

After all the chocolates are gone, you are left with one thing

After your life, it is death

Some say you go to heaven or hell

Some say purgatory

Some say nothing

I think your body will lay where it rests and your soul is free to linger on earth

This way, you are free to help others who have to remain in their human body and mourn your death

So yes, life is like a box of chocolates

You never know what you'll get

It’s up to you on how you view it

Who knows what will happen when all the chocolates disappear?
