That Boy Named Sullivan

Yo soy a boy

Who is known for being gay

But that's not me.

I'm diverse, I'm strong, I'm smart

I'm also a "sexier version of John Mayer"

But that's probably a lie

And obviously I'm a Narsacist

But it's ok because I'm me and You're you

and that's what we're free to choose

I am whoever I want to be

and it will still be me.

I was bullied

I faced adversity like everyone else

But I survive

I'm a Survivor of this culture of hate

Hate that leaves my brothers and sister in despair, alone, verging on suicide

But I digressed past the mess and grew

I'm free to be me because no one can make me not me

Some people marginalize me as a "fag"

others call me "fat" "annoying" "ugly"

And that's what made me me

Those words shaped my soul into me

And I am proud to be me

I am proud to be that gay, narsacistic, strong, bullied boy named Sullivan.
