Brainpower

Her head hangs low

Her voice barely a whisper

The long sleeves she wears

May hide a scar or two

She barely trudges

Through life

Wondering if existence

Even matters

But the sound of a small voice stops her

The voice of reason; purpose

Synapses spark and flare

Her mind courses with knowledge

And she realizes

The truth

That her beauty

Lies within

Her flawlessness

Is her intellect

Her brain outshines any beauty queen

Her skillful capabilities are endless

She knows that she can do nearly anything

With the power of her mind

Her head is held high

Her glasses perched proudly on her nose

She speaks her opinion freely

And others listen intently

Her brainpower is her strength

That not one being can flaw
