Break Free from Filtering your Life

Location

I’ve been known to have filtered myself,

to be someone that everyone liked,

to not be made fun of.

It takes a lot for me to be who I truely am,

as I'm about to graduate,

anyone now can see,

that I’m the person I want to be.

Without filters I’m a strong, calm woman who can become emotional at any moment,

I think loyalty and honesty are two of the best qualities to have.

I contain dirty blonde hair, but the sun has made it fully blonde,

my eyes are a rich blue that has been passed down from my dad’s side.

Laughing is my weakness,

but I can go the whole day without making a sound.

Physically and mentally I’m sensitive,

One thought or word can turn my world upside down.

I’ve found out that this can be good or bad.

I’m athletic and try to remain fit,

but food is hard to kick!

I’m an introvert, but once I get going,

an adventurous, fun, carefree girl runs out to play.

I consider myself creative and artistic,

art runs through me like blood.

I see it everywhere.

Finally my religion is my backbone, I try to attend church every Sunday,

without it, I wouldn’t be here today.

Deep down in those filtered photos, someone is crying out to be seen or noticed.

But I’ve learned that until you realize that your family, friends, and lover only see the beautiful qualities filters cover up and try to hide,

that person deep inside, might never be able to break out and run free.
