Broken Beyond Repair

I taught you how to love me and instead you took the information to use it for herThat's all I was for youA source on how to become better for someone elseIm a used book that got put back on the shelfEverything I ever showed you on how to love was taken in by you so that you can go and give it to someone elseYou had no intentions of ever giving anything back to meI gave you my secrets And I can never take any of them backYou saw how fragile I was yet you were still so careless. You dropped me and I shattered all over the floorLike a child, you looked at the mess and continued to play As if the glass never mattered to you

This poem is about:
Me
