Broken Ties

In more ways than some

I opened up myself to you,

I let you into my soul and you tasted the madness on my lips

We would’ve destroyed one another in the most beautiful ways possible

I opened the door for you

And gave you leave, Yet still you stayed.

I felt as if home was engraved into your name, Home was your soul

Where ever you were, I wanted to be.

Now, the things that brought us together tore us apart

Ultimately, Inevitably. And I became like a shell longing for someone to fill me,

Someone to give me life

I wanted you.

Curse these broken ties.
