Bullied But Not Dead

I was the girl, The one they thought would die. The scapegoat, Bullied, And Beaten, Every single day, And it was I that almost took my life away. After being hurt, And tortured for so long, What other option would come along? They had to be right, So many people wouldn’t lie, I was a worthless waste, It was a matter of time. I came so close, To ending it all, Until I realized, I had made the wrong call. I am not worthless, I do have a life, And I will fight each and every day, To prove, That I do have something to say. And to all those out there, The ones who are like me, We are the teachers, This world desperately needs. There is another option, An option other than death, But when you are shown nothing else, You don’t know about that.
