A Burning Abyss on Land

An abyss filled with endless flames and fury,

holds the power to destroy everything to the ashes

Nothing but charcoal and embers remain,

shakes the ground with furious tantrums

Fills the air with atrocious fumes poisoning the innocent,

ringing terror into the hearts of all even those made of steel

Merely a small percentage of its vicious power is revealed

As it rips away our precious land,

it brings us beauty hidden underneath the residue

Gives us light and warmth; the ideals in each of us

We are our own source of heat and light,

spread it to others and once we unite our future is bright
