Cain's helper

I am rock, alone in the sea,
cemented in sad are others like me;
We are not dead, nor alive,
From such captivity I can't contrive?

I'm a rock and was not made to sail.
Why on earth was I made this pale?
Ought I not be bathed in brand new color?
Why my maker, allow them against me conspire?

I remember, the day I was chosen by nature
Why were I not made a man, or creature?
But I've been here for centuries,
And fought I not against thy enemies?

Weapon I not be? Didst I carry not a stain,
Why leaveth me?in God knows where,
Alloweth thou not use me cause them pain?
It is clear thou doeth not care!

I am but not immune to gravity;
Instead thou hath blatantly used me:
Did God not maketh both ye and I?
Wait, didst not thou already die?

I am rock, alone in the sea,
cemented in sad are others like me;
We are not dead, nor alive,
From such captivity I can't contrive?
