Calmness In the Storm

The silk-soft dewdrops crash so quickly against the calloused ground,The scent of fresh earth fills my nose. The birds take cover all around,I see the blooming of a rose. Calmness fills the silence,I watch the soft flowers be rinsed. The water glides smooth off my rooftop,Pitter-patters make a rain drop. Thunder booms, lightning crackles. This weather's limits have no shackles. And here is beautiful, beautiful rain,I find calmness in the storm again.
