Cardboard Voice

Location

Sitting on an invisible desert

Screaming for Help

No one hears you

Your voice is plastered on a piece of cardboard

No yellow brick road for you

Other's follow their's home

As they do, only your eyes travel

No home to follow it to

Rain

The rain of helplessness

The sound of silence

When shaking a can

Dignity

None of it

Begging

Not your choice

Yet it ends up your life

That shaking silent can

The cardboard

Your life
