Cavity.

we were just kids,

merely saying i love you for show

“so sweet youʼre giving me a cavity“

i still remember telling you

too bad we just laugh now

youʼll never understand what you left

kept you around long enough to get you under my gums

then you wonder why i must keep my mouth shut

whenever i decide to open up

i still feel that pain

and sometimes i wish you felt it

now weʼre getting older

but that hole stays

just as you go
