Change

Change.

Something we all seem to fear.

Not knowing we are all bound to be different.

But we constantly listen to society's thought and beliefs of what seems to be “right.”

Change.

Something we hold back because we don’t have “time.”

Not knowing you can make a difference just by a stroke of a pen.

But we don’t want give in and see fault in what everyone else says appears to be right.

Change.

Can’t you see that we need change?

There is nothing wrong with getting a little rearranged.

We are so immune to the same, our past, the usual.

It’s  holding us back from making a difference in our future.

Change.

If I could change anything about today, it would be the way people think.

Our thoughts are the beginning to our actions.

What we do is more important than what we say.

It’s time we take action.

Change.

Not everything needs a negative reaction, but it's time we do something.

You see our heros, Martin Luther King, Rosa Parks, JFK, they didn’t go through hell for nothing.

Change.

They wanted change.

For us to have equal rights.

But we seem to be oblivious to what and where we came from.

Change.

We aren’t seeing that our future is just a colored picture of our past.

But eventually color fades away.

How long will we last?

Without change.
