To Change The World

Location

To change the world is a dream many wish to achieve,

But thinking we actually can is sometimes hard to believe.

See, we live in a world hungry for power and filled with greed;

Sadly, those are the main characteristics of those who lead.

Our world has gone crazy, it's gone absolutley mad,

But I want change, I've never wanted it so bad.

I'm not trying to slander or flat out be mean,

I just want to live in a world where it's safe to be a teen.

I know there's more than meets the eye,

"Country of the free" is just one big lie.

So let's throw out all the smoken mirrors,

I want to see what's underneath it all, I want to to see tears.

I want to meet the president face to face,

I'll greet him with a smile and without grimace.

I want to tell him what it's like out here in the country he's made,

How hard the average american works just to get paid.

I'll tell him how so many struggle to make end's meet,

And how difficult it is to just keep shoes on our feet.

I just want him to tell me that everything will be okay,

If only I could meet the president for a day.
