Changes

As I grow up, each day at a time

I start to notice all the things that chime

The beauty in this world has always been there

But as most the others I was blinded by the glare

The glare of negative energy, that shoots right up from Hell

The thought in many of us that its okay to dwell

On the past, the present, or the future itself

Its time to put bad memories back on the shelf

Back where they belong, no longer weighing you down

Now its time to pick up the happiness crown

Choose to be happy, and let it shine through

After all, there was someone who let it rub off on you

Pass along a smile, a hug, or a high five

For you may never know, that’s the only thing keeping them alive

Live happily and with gratitude

Both important things for your mental attitude

Live freely, without regrets, strictly lessons learned

And before you know it, the tables will have turned

Pure happiness and positive things will quickly come your way

For if you follow this, you will never have a bad day.
