Changes

There has come an end to the fun,

The natural shade has gone undone.

The cloud which always blocked the sun

Has taken its course on the run.

All my life’s been filled with cloud,

My attitude was always proud.

Ungrateful for what was endowed,

This gracious gift never avowed.

Now I feel the blistering heat.

I wish yesterday would repeat.

Now my days are not very sweet.

My life now feels so incomplete.

The change in life’s so unpleasant.

I feel as if I’m a peasant.

My breaks come when moon is present,

Whether it be full or crescent.

The rays of sun bring change and sorrow.

I hope for clouds to come tomorrow.

The rays that shine burn and bring pain.

So I long for clouds to come again.
